I never knew that it was possible to have a dental filling... leak... Apparently, either the filling or my tooth (the dentist was vague, and I was on Nitrous.... XD) had cracked, and the decay had continued under the filling. They had to drill it all out, take off part of my tooth, and reform it with ceramic filling material. And apparently I have defectively deep grooves in my teeth, and the cusps on my teeth rival the height of Mount Everest!!!! So they also drilled off part of my lower teeth.
Overall, it was a good experience. I got a warm neck wrap, a radio, and all the Laughing Gas (Nitrous Oxide) I could ever want. Man that stuff is good.
My boyfriend also had to go into the dentist today, for a whopping 7+ fillings! O_O Apparently the hygienists were prepared to give him a parafin wax hand treatment (normally given at spas, lol).
I have heard in recent years that dentists offices, in order to beat the painful stigma, have started to offer more pleasantries and extra services.

In other news, I have a class called "American Crime and Punishment". It is amazing. I have about 4 hours of true crime reading a night, every single day; however, it's a strictly discussion class, and there are no papers, midterms or final. Just a quick reading quiz at the beginning of discussion. Other than that, I'm healing well from surgery, and am starting to figure out how I can lose the weight I gained during the ordeal.
